Thursday, March 11th
It was Beach Day at Horizon! :) We looked cool! We wore beach clothes. Some people wore shorts. Some people wore grass skirts. We had art class. We went to jungle centers. Nora was our calendar helper. We had one outdoor recess and one indoor recess. We had rest time. We had snacks. We are reading books about Curious George during snack time. We ate lunch. We made Mancala games and played it. We went to reading stations. We wrote in our jungle logs. Laura was our sound crown greeter. Gabi was our room helper. Emma was our line backer. Bella was our line leader. We had reading time. It was our 123rd day of school. We had a morning meeting. We had an afternoon meeting. We started printing kente cloth. We wrote the news. We had student readers. We had a great day! Have a great Spring break!!! :)
