Monday, June 7th
It was our last day of kindergarten! We had a morning meeting, then went to the all school assembly in the gym. We got to watch a slide show of all the kids/activities at Horizon. We sang the Horizon song together. When we got back to our classroom we did beach relays with Mrs. Whitney's class. It was fun. We did a fish relay, a spoon zoom with sea shells, a flip flop relay, and a water relay using wet sponges. :) Then we had a picnic lunch in our community area. We played outside for noon recess, then came back to our classroom for a short "beach" rest time. We did different beach stations...ocean book looks from the pool, fish creation station, and float or sink. We celebrated Shae's birthday. She brought cupcakes to share with us. :) We got to play in inflatables in the gym. They were sponsored by our PTO. It was awesome! We were tired after that. We came back to the room for our afternoon meeting. We sang, and said goodbye to each other. We ended our day with a hug. :) It was a fun beach day and a great school year!
