Hope you can come to our African Jungle Village Day tomorrow at 2:30 pm. Meet us in our classroom. It will be an open house atmosphere. :) The students will be sharing what we have been learning about Africa.
Our farm field trip will be on Friday, May 21st. We will be gone all day. Let me know tomorrow if you would like to join us for that trip. :)
We ate lunch. Erik finished his puzzle today. Today is the last day of March. We had music and library today. Cameron finished his puzzle. We had snacks. Nora was our mailbox helper. Becca finished her puzzle. We did sidewalk chalk today. We made toe puppets today and told stories with our toes moving the puppets. :) Riley finished his puzzle. It was our 131st day of school. It was a good day.

Tuesday, March 30th
Don't forget to come to our African Jungle Village Day on Thursday, April 1st at 2:30pm. Logan was our line leader. Nora and Kenny played outside together. Kenny was back from Viet Nam. :) We had jungle centers. We made a fish aquarium today. We interviewed Mrs. Joslin. Mrs. Green was here for Mrs. Strayer in the morning. We read Time for Kids. Cameron was our sound crown greeter. Erik M. was our calendar helper. Today was is the 130th day of school. We wrote the news. We read a chapter in Junie B. We had rest time. We had PE. We had art. We had a good day! :)

Monday, March 29th
We celebrated Dessa's birthday today. :) She brought brownies. We sang for her and gave her a cheer. Zoey was our sound crown greeter. Sneha was our line leader. JT is taking Bernard home tonight. We played outside today. Emma was our room helper. We worked in jungle centers. Eric Lo finished his puzzle. We wrote the news. Eli was a room checker. We had music class. We practiced for our concert on risers. Nora finished her puzzle. Erik earned two puzzle pieces today. Patrick finished his puzzle. Sneha finished her puzzle. Emma finished her puzzle. It was our 129th day of school. It was a good day! :)

Friday, March 26th
We had a student from ISU helping us today. Her name is Mackenzie Moen. This is her picture. She helped us make our clay bead necklaces. She helped us with reading. :)
Nora was our mailbox helper. We ate lunch. We had PE. Laura and Becca were our room checkers. Patrick was our line leader. We went to the computer lab. We had lots of guests today. We learned some African words. We got bracelets from Africa. Ali talked to us about Africa. Justin came to help her. We had outside recess. We wrote the news. We had quiet rest time. We sang the months of the year. We had a good day! :)

Thursday, March 25th
We had art class. We spent time with 4th grade buddies. We played Mancala and read together. It was our 127th day of school. We had outside recess. We ate lunch. Dessa was our sound crown greeter. We had student readers. JT read a book called No More Kissing to the class. :) Tenley is taking Beatrice home. We read a chapter in Junie B. Jones. Riley was our calendar helper. Pete shared Bernard's journal this morning. We had a good day. :) No one is taking Bernard home today. Grace was our room helper. We had a great day! :)

We still need at least 10 egg cartons. Please send one to school when you get an empty one. Thank you. We have enough milk jugs. Students need to remember and return their art magnets if they are not going to be purchased. If you want to keep it, please send the money to school with your child. Spring pictures are coming home today. They need to be returned if you don't want to purchase them. Thanks for your help on both of these items.

Nora and Shae were our room checkers. Laura saw her sister outside. We played outdoors. Erik M. saw his sister at recess. We had jungle centers and we made masks. We made clay beads today. Tenley was our line leader. Natalie was our line backer. We added two sight words to our word wall....was and here. JT's mom came to help us make beads. Grace was our calendar helper.
